Responsibilities:

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Crystal Bees will provide leadership to ensure the pursuit of excellence in delivering our products & services to the community. He/she will work in concert with the General Manager to be the driving force in delivering a best in class service program (restaurant, bar, special events & lounge), creativity in beverage service, hospitality standards in all departments, maintaining budgetary costs, highest level of sanitation & safety in all areas, training, genuine hospitality, and positive morale. The AGM is responsible for the venue in absence of GM.

Special Qualifications:

The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on guest and guest services is essential to success in this role.

Communication skills that allow open and honest professional exchanges between all members of management, staff and guest. The AGM will be adept at defusing both guest and staff issues to provide a positive outcome.

Trained professionally with an established track record in high volume diverse entertainment venues, high quality food & beverage operations with multiple outlets, and levels (types) of service.

Knowledge of redemption games, bowling,

Key Duties:

Delegation of key department duties, with timely follow-up, and accountability.

Inventory management, maintain proper inventory levels to meet or better budgeted COS, while having the needed product in a timely manner.

Deliver a consistently high level of service, food & beverage products, on shift best management practices.

Create productive, yet effective schedules which allow us to continually provide exceptional guest service, while meeting budgetary and operational goals.

Ability to manage during the moment, keeping the big picture goals insight.

Prepared & involved for daily, weekly, and monthly staff meeting.

Fully understand P&L, with the business acumen to drive the desire budgetary and short term results.

Be able to work and communicate with GM and the entire management team to ensure seamless execution.

Manage the HR component of the FOH departments: hiring, reviews, discipline, and terminations by means of the HR system.

Develop team with a culture of coaching, managing, and mentoring.

Maintains highest sanitation & safety standards. Serve Safe and TIPS certified.

Highly comfortable with the guest and media interaction.

Self-accountable for creating and emulating the Crystal Bees standard of excellence.

Open to learning, the thirst for constant improvement, both for the business and self.

Experience:

Previous experience in high volume / high quality operations, with diverse menus, dining & bar options (social / corporate catering, VIP, casual). Successful experience with cost control (labor, food, beverage and paper), P&L accountability, developing regulars, team training & development preferred.

Premise and liability accountability, private ownership, corporate restaurant experience preferred.

Education:

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or related certification or/with eight or more years of industry food & beverage management experience.
