TPC River Highlands is a private golf course located in Cromwell, Conn., just outside of Hartford. TPC River Highlands championship golf course hosts the PGA TOURs Travelers Championship, the largest professional sports event in Connecticut. A new clubhouse, which will feature two full kitchens, three event spaces, covered patios, and an outdoor event lawn, capable of hosting events from 12-person private dining to 500-person events. TPC River Highlands is currently seeking a team player to join our Food & Beverage staff as a full-time Lead Server to assist our members and guests with their dining needs.
Responsibilities include:
Greets all arriving guests at assigned station in a pleasant manner, making them feel welcome and at ease. Communicates menu specials and changes; answer questions and take guest orders accurately.
Ensures that work stations are properly refilled at the beginning and end of every shift. Perform all assigned side work duties (polishing, rolling, organization, etc.) Participates in the continuous cleaning and up-keep of all Food & Beverage areas.
Opens dining room, grill and/or pub, ensuring that the area is clean and accommodating at all times, and in accordance with established quality standards.
Quickly and professionally serves food & beverage requests
Resolves member and guest food & beverage concerns
Qualified candidates will have the following:
2-3 years prior experience in a food service capacity, preferably in a club or fast paced environment
Great attitude
Team player
Very customer service oriented
Dependability
At least 18 years of age
