TPC River Highlands is a private golf course located in Cromwell, Conn., just outside of Hartford. TPC River Highlands championship golf course hosts the PGA TOURs Travelers Championship, the largest professional sports event in Connecticut. A new clubhouse, which will feature two full kitchens, three event spaces, covered patios, and an outdoor event lawn, capable of hosting events from 12-person private dining to 500-person events. TPC River Highlands is currently seeking a team player to join our Food & Beverage staff as a full-time Service Captain to assist with daily oversight of the ala carte and banquet dining operations.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring quality service standards by supporting the staff with the necessary resources and training
Maintaining product inventories & cost controls
Assisting members/guests with their dining needs
Ensure the staff is properly trained and monitored in service techniques and operational procedures
Maintain a positive promotional environment for Ala Carte, Banquet and Special Event service
Qualified candidates will have the following:
A passion for impeccable service
2-3 years of directly related work experience
1-2 years of leadership experience
Ability to work evenings and/or weekends
Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities
Must be a self-starter and have a positive attitude with a passion for service excellence and member satisfaction
Must be a team player
Must be at least 21 years of age
