In exchange for companionship and personal care assistance, you will share (rent-free) a lovely, quiet garden apartment with a young woman with a disability (who works part-time as an office assistant). She uses a walker and wheelchair for mobility, loves animals and is committed to an eco-friendly environment. You'll have a private furnished bedroom, all utilities provided (rent, electric, cable TV, WIFI) plus earn $500 per week. You'll also have weekdays off (from 8:30am-4:30pm: perfect for someone who might want to maintain a day job or attend classes) and at least one weekend afternoon off. Additional time off is negotiable.
Duties include assisting with personal care (training provided), light housekeeping, light cooking, laundry (in the building), and helping with some errands. Must have reliable car and an excellent driving record. Non-smokers only. Excellent references are required and long-term commitment is preferred.
