Position Summary:
The Developer/ERP & System Specialist provides oversight and support for the various software and hardware systems within the business to maintain daily operations and to facilitate increased capabilities, capacity, and efficiencies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Modify existing internal applications to add functionality and/or features
· Perform SQL queries to generate custom reports and provide statistical data.
· Perform required daily functions to ensure progress of orders through the ERP and accounting systems
· Evaluate, respond, and troubleshoot ERP application issues within a timely and professional manner
· Support office and production staff to resolve hardware and/or software related issues
· Participate in developing production enhancement requirements and specifications
· Participate in developing required software applications and enhancements
· Participate in deploying hardware enhancements
· Interacts with third party IT support provider as required
· Other duties as assigned
Skills and Knowledge requirements:
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong analytical and organizational skills
· Self-motivated and self-directed
· Ability to work closely with a senior management team
· High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Experienced in C#, .Net and MS SQL
· Preference given to Microsoft Certified
· 1+ years of Cognex In-Sight ViDi vision system experience preferred
