We are searching for an innovative and experienced Sitecore developer. You should have been actively working with Sitecore for at least 5 years, and a preference towards those that have a Sitecore certification.
Our client, the State of Connecticut has been using Sitecore for 5 years and is looking to expand their usage of Sitecore and start taking advantage of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Personalization and more of the Sitecore Marketing Functions. Using Sitecore, we seek to create an AI layer on top of Sitecore to drive content creation and delivery for over 100 different State Websites. This is an exciting opportunity that creates unique challenges.To set the stage for this endeavor, we first need to upgrade from Sitecore 9.3 to Sitecore 10.2 (or later). Candidates should have experience upgrading Sitecore and understand the challenges faced in upgrading large scale sites. This not only includes the Sitecore platform but also related services such as SOLR.We need someone that has a passion for learning, self-development and loves knowing how things work. The successful candidate must be a self-starter and willing to drudge through issues when needed. They must be able to demonstrate expertise solving complex and unique challenges with innovative solutions. They must be a great communicator and collaborator, energetic and promote a sense of confidence. Communication directly with the customer will be required. The ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changing priorities is important. We have a very team-oriented atmosphere and support one another as best as we can. The candidate is expected to work as part of a team in delivery successful solutions to our client.You must be physically located in the United States. This can be a remote position. - Using defined best practices install, maintain, debug a complex Sitecore environment.
- Write clean, scalable, and readable code.
- Maintain all code in source control.
- Maintain documentation in Confluence.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for code deployments.
- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Integrate Sitecore with 3 rd party applications.
- Research and document technical solutions to complex requirements.
- Assist Jr Software Developers as needed.
- Coordinate with other software professionals and developers.
- Debug and troubleshoot application errors.
- Non Sitecore development as needed.
- Act as a technical lead for implementation efforts.
- 5+ years of C# .NET Development Experience
- .NET Core
- Entity Framework and Linq
- NET MVC
- NET Web API
- 5+ years of Sitecore Development
- Expert level understanding of Sitecore installation, development and configuration best practices including but not limited to
- Installation and configuration of Sitecore
- Sitecore Helix
- Configuration Layers
- Zookeeper/SOLR
- Creating pipelines, event handlers
- Implementing Sitecore Analytics, Personalization
- Sitecore Cortex
- Sitecore Forms
- Unicorn/TDS
- Component development
- Sitecore Headless
- Experience integration Sitecore with 3 rd party applications
- Experience implementing CI/CD processing with Sitecore using Azure DevOps
- Experience Upgrading Sitecore
- Sitecore 9.3 Certification
- 5+ years RESTful API and microservice development including designing, building, testing, and deployment.
- 5+ years Object-Oriented design and development experience with knowledge of design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- 2+ Experience JS Frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)
- Clear understanding of Serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of the SDLC
- SQL Server Development experience
- Proficient with code versioning tools such as Bitbucket
- HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Strong understand of Agile Methodologies
- Salesforce Experience
- Cloud Development in Azure
- Experience using Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field
