This is a brand new, full-time, permanent position with salary of $60K - $80K + Bonus + Benefits. We are looking for audio/video (AV) training experience with the ability to train all of the partners, work with installers and train end customers. Course work has been developed, will need to be able to create new content when new products are released. Must be able to travel 30% of the time domestically and once per year internationally.The Technical Demo and Training Center Specialist is responsible for fostering customer relationships Worldwide, with specific focus in the Washington, DC area. The role will be an expert in our technology and product offering, enabling them to effectively communicate our company’s value and the customer problems that it solves. The Specialist will act as a primary contact in this region for product information, product demonstrations, system design requests, technical support and training. This position will also assist in gathering customer requirements, industry trends and engaging with internal Product Management and Engineering teams to further advance our offering.

Responsibilities of our Technical Demo and Training Center Specialist will include:· Develop strong customer relationships, establishing personal rapport with current and prospective customers and acting as a trusted advisor· Develop customer knowledge, by providing product, service and technical information· Identify current and future customer requirements and assist customers in the specification of their requirements· Prepare system designs, by engaging partners and end users, gathering requirements and defining customer problems and workflows. Provide users with complete system drawings, parts lists and additional relevant information.· Conduct company Technology and Design Training courses, including assisting in the creation of training materials· Manage and maintain the Advanced Technology Concept Center (ATCC), working and coordinating with internal Center Partners, as required· Provide standard technical demonstrations across our Demo Centers and customer sites, effectively conveying our company’s value proposition· Maintain mobile demonstration kits, updating configurations, as required· Design, configure and build customized demonstration systems to satisfy specific customer needs or events· Collect and summarize market and application trends, operating as a liaison between customers and Product Management· Provide post-sales system support, promoting the expansion of system designs and educating customers on upcoming new products and releases· Provide post-sales technical support, answering general support and troubleshooting inquiries and assisting on-site, as required

Required Skills and Experience of our Technical Demo and Training Center Specialist include:· Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a Technical or Engineering discipline· 3 or more years of experience working with customers and engineering to deliver technical training and/or demonstration support· Strong written and verbal communication skills; an effective communicator of technical information· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong time management skills· Strong interpersonal skills· Ability to work in range of software programs, such as Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and SalesForce· Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 30% of the time; flexibility to manage multiple time zones· Experience as project-lead, from specification through implementation (preferred)
