This is a full-time, permanent position with salary of $60K - $75K + Bonus + Benefits. We are ideally looking for prior experience in technical sales. This could be a recent college graduate with some sales experience, that has the technical aptitude to learn the products. Any Sales Engineering, Application Engineering, Fiber Optic or Audio/Visual (AV) knowledge is a plus. Seeking a candidate with the ability to train partners, work with installers and train end customers. Course work has been developed, will need to be able to create new content when new products are released. Must be able to travel 25% of the time domestically and once per year internationally. Job Summary: The expansion and maintaining of a base of trained installation partners and customers is crucial to our success. The Training Manager – Sales Support develops training material and hands-on lab modules providing this partner/customer base the ability to design, install, commission and effectively operate our innovative AV/KVM system. The Training Manager – Sales Support is responsible for fostering customer relationships worldwide and is considered an important front-line customer facing position. The role will be an expert in our technology and product offering, enabling them to effectively communicate our company’s value and the customer problems that it solves. This position will also assist in gathering customer requirements and industry trends. Responsibilities of our Training Manager – Sales Support will include: • The training of groups of 2 to 12+ attendees on the installation, commissioning, and operation of our AV/KVM System.• Development into an expert of our product offering and value proposition.• Development and maintenance of highly effective on-line, virtual and hands-on face to face training material and modules.• The development, maintenance and updating of hardware kits for training and mobile system demonstrations.• The coordination of in-house and on-site customer training events including scheduling attendees, venues and the shipping of equipment.• The certification of training material and attendee accreditations with industry standards organizations.• The establishment of strong customer relationships, establishing personal rapport with current and prospective customers and acting as a trusted advisor.• Provide standard technical demonstrations across our Demo Centers and customer sites, effectively conveying our company’s value proposition.• Provide post-sales system support, promoting the expansion of system designs and educating customers on upcoming new products and releases.• Provide post-sales technical support, answering general support and troubleshooting inquiries and assisting on-site, as required. Required Skills and Experience for our Training Manager – Sales Support: • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a Technical or Engineering discipline.• 1 or more years of experience working with customers and engineering to deliver technical training and/or demonstration support.• Strong written and verbal communication skills; an effective communicator of technical information.• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong time management skills.• Strong interpersonal skills.• Ability to work in range of software programs, such as Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and SalesForce.• Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 30% of the time; flexibility to manage multiple time zones.• Experience as project-lead, from specification through implementation (preferred).• Audio Visual Industry experience preferred.
