Intelligent Automation Solutions (IAS), currently consisting of Rapid (aka Robotic) Process Automation (RPA), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a component of Intelligent Automation Solutions (IAS) to enable digital operations & activities at SBD. The strategy for IAS is to mature a Center of Excellence (CoE), to centralize key functions, standardize and optimize processes, scale automation and technology within the organization, strengthen governance, and achieve the global long-term vision.This position will report directly to the Intelligent Automation Solutions Sr. Manager of Governance and Controls and will have a key role in the project intake process. This will include supporting new idea generation, performing initial customer outreach for submitted opportunities, and being involved in marketing efforts to expand the reach of the IAS team. In addition, this position will be responsible for liaising with Federated automation teams throughout Stanley Black & Decker, collaborating regularly with these developers to ensure compliance to the IAS Policies and Procedures, as well as members of the IAS Governance & Controls team, and IT Support, to report out on Federated project statuses, risks and issues.What You'll DoAs an IAS Senior Analyst- Governance & Controls, you'll be a part of our Corporate team located remotely.You'll get to:- Manage upfront project intake process by monitoring the Bot Tracker for new projects, performing initial outreach on submitted opportunities, and setting up meetings with BU SMEs and other stakeholders, as needed, to review completed Initial Process Assessments
- Support Governance reviews and project assignment process based on knowledge of proposed automation, its complexity and requirements, as well as team skill set and capacity
- Maintain a growing knowledge of completed automations to support in the expansion efforts and new idea generation
- Work cross-functionally with Federated developers and associated stakeholders to monitor progress of Federated projects and ensure their timely execution
- Understand IAS Governance Policies & Procedures to be able to provide support and guidance to Federated developers
- Regularly review project pipeline of Federated Team(s) to understand capacity and demand forecasts
- Monitor and audit adherence to Governance Policies & Procedures. Raise compliance concerns to Sr. Manager and support in the investigation to identify root cause issues.
- Provide regular status and reporting to Sr Manager
- Support the preparation and presentation of trainings to Federated Team members, as required.
- Complete additional projects, as assigned
- Minimum 3 years' professional experience in Project Management, ITO Services, or Finance and Accounting
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Great organization skills
- Proven desire to build strong partnerships with the ability to hold others accountable
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS SharePoint, MS Visio.
- Strong skillset to demonstrate the ability for innovative ideas and the confidence to promote or share as actionable insights
- Knowledge of SmartSheet a plus
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering degree from an accredited University or College
