Business Lead - Data Analytics/Hyperion - Remote

You'll get to:- Act as the technology advisor and thought leader to the assigned Business Unit or Function.
- Champion to the Business for identifying and driving innovative IT solutions.
- Lead IT transformation that drives business results.
- Communicates business needs with technology solutions team to gain alignment betweenbusinessneeds and technical capabilities.
- Influences and contributes to the overall corporate platform architecture, IT strategy and IT roadmap.
- Represents IT within the BUs by maintaining a high degree of visibility within the business andattendingbusiness meetings and appropriate management forums, providing a central point ofinformation for allrelated IT activities
- Assists the business to form/improve process and systems solutions that are appropriate andadequateto satisfy both tactical and strategic business needs
- Ensure project and initiative progress, including consistent and effective communication andmanagingescalation/risk.
- Participate in the quarterly forecasting and IT annual budgeting and planning process for theassignedbusiness units, and tracks IT spend
- Helps evaluate IT project objectives and analyzes new business initiatives
- Helps drive necessary change and accountability within the business and IT Leadership to achieveinitialand lasting value from IT Initiatives.
- Keep up on data industry trends and the availability of upgrades to a system and advising organizational leaders when changes need to be made.
- Manage the execution of platform BA&R projects Hyperion work stream with a focus on IT tasks and ensure all deadlines are being met on time without compromising quality of deliverables.
- Work with the BA&R Project Delivery Leadership to manage/update the project budget/forecasts as necessary
- Work with the Finance Hyperion Planning/Essbase Lead to define, manage and execute strategy/approach around the Hyperion work stream risks and issues identified and be able to prioritize based on criticality and need
- Work with the Finance Hyperion Planning/Essbase Lead to balance scope schedule, budget, quality, and risks. Make adjustments as necessary.
- Manage project coordination for IT-focused tasks between the Hyperion and other deployment work streams and manage and serve as the Hyperion work stream's main point of contact for SBD IT teams that provide supporting work and deliverables for the project.
- Accountable for any IT deliverables outlined within the scope of work
- Partner with the Finance Hyperion Planning/Essbase Lead and Project Delivery leadership to ensure consistent execution of project management processes that include work plan, risk/issue, testing, scope change management and project status reporting.
- Ensure that the Hyperion work stream's IT project resources receive appropriate training for acquiring or maturing technical and/or soft skills
- Stakeholder relationship management experience and engagement at all levels
- Understanding of future technologies
- Business acumen and Finance principles
- Understanding of industry including financials, market trends, opportunities and threats
- Business case development including identifying metrics that drive value
- Portfolio and Program Management
- Knowledge of required technologies (including 3rd party solutions)
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
- Deep understanding of application portfolio, IT strategy and roadmap, and businesspriorities
- Security, privacy and risk mindset
- BRMP or CBRM certifications preferred
- Preferred experience with any of these tools: Alteryx, TAS, Data Lake, Snowflake, Redshift , PowerBI or Tableau
- Undergraduate degree and 10+ years relevant experience, or
- Graduate degree and 8-10 years relevant experience.
- 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 0-3 years leadership experience.
