Job Description
Title: Technical Support Level 1Location: New Canaan (Hybrid/2-3 days work onsite)Type: 6 months contract to hireJob Description:The client is seeking a Level 1 Support Technician who will be responsible for resolving issues for their client base. Support requests range from printer/copier Helpdesk calls to hardware, software, and network-related calls. Support technicians are responsible for both telephone and field calls Experience- Strong knowledge of Windows 7-10 and Apple (iOS) operating systems
- 1-2 years of software and hardware diagnostic preferred
- Microsoft Office 365 and on-premise office issue remediation
- Windows Server 2008-2016 and Active Directory User/Computer management
- Experience with backup, anti-spam services, and virmalware remediation
- Basic understanding of networking protocols - DNS, WINS, DHCP, VPN, and TCP/IP
- Previous experience working at an MSP is desirable and/or working with PSA, RMM, and ticketing systems
- Minimum 1-3 years previous technical experience
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to occasionally work overnight shifts and weekends as needed on a team rotation schedule
