SOUND GOOD? HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: • Work in a hands-on capacity to customize and deliver Guidewire's InfoCenter and DataHub solutions using ETL and BI tools for Business Intelligence, Data Migration and Data Integration• Perform Data Profiling, Data Analytics and Data Mapping• Develop ETL logic to integrate and/or migrate data from legacy system and Guidewire applications• Design and develop complex ETL logic to extend and publish data marts in enterprise data warehouse• Design and develop BI to create new and update existing Business Intelligence• Extensive reporting systems and administration experience is preferred• Test and execute initial and delta loads of persistent operational data store and enterprise data warehouse• Fine-tune all ETL processes to maximize performance• Leverage data warehouse and other data sources for business reporting needsTO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL NEED TO BRING THE FOLLOWING SKILLS TO THE TABLE: • Extensive experience in relational database theory• Knowledge of data-warehousing, Data Marts (including star and snowflake schemas) and BI• Design best practices and techniques• Experience in or knowledge of Data Mapping and Data Modeling• Expert knowledge of SQL, SQL scripting and the ability to design and implement complex relational models and query optimization• Experience using ETL and BI tools, including creating reports, dashboards, and/or summarizing large amounts of data into actionable intelligence to drive business decisionsYOU'LL ALSO NEED THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:• Strong communication skills and the drive to meet problem solving challenges with a high degree of ownership and delivery• Innovative thinking - strong ability to think critically and aptitude for problem solving • Successful track record in participating in complex, cross-functional teams• Excellent verbal and written communications skills necessary to interact with all levels of the organization, including external business partners• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to convert a business problem into an analytics problem then an • Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks across multiple projects with tight deadlines and aggressive goals utilizing agile project delivery practices• 2 - 4 years experience preferred; Property and casualty insurance experience is a plus• Bachelor's degree in a field with an emphasis on analytical skills, such as Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering Requirements Microsoft SQL, ETL - Extract Transform Load Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
