Field Service Manager

Position Purpose: Oversee and participate in the daily operation and maintenance of the utility distribution and collection, and assist with storm systems and other functions of the project. Position has responsibility for safety and environmental compliance as well as performance management and staff development. Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for supervising hourly staff including work scheduling, assignment, and daily progress of crew through site visits and the use of CMMS/GIS software.Assist employees in troubleshooting as needed.Assist with after hours emergencies.Responsible for managing PRoject’s DOT program.Follows proper health and safety standards.Considerable knowledge of effective supervisory methods and practices including training, coaching, counseling, employees team-building and conflict management.Ability to develop, organize, and manage records and reports pertinent to the activities supervised.Strong desire to establish and maintain effective working relationships, teams, and work groups with other employees, contractors and the general public.Utilizes computers and software as assigned.Performs other related duties as assigned.Work Environment:Roughly 60/40 in the field and office.
