Western Express is currently looking to fill several more Trailer Technician positions on First Shift at our Plainfield, Ct facility. First shift hours at 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, Sunday - Wednesday. We are looking for experienced technicians, at least 2 years experience. The position will involve Annual/DOT/CSA inspections, minor to moderate repairs, any experience in Electrical, Suspension, Welding and Fabrication and Wheel-end work is a plus, but not required.
Now Offering at our Plainfield Facility:
- $2,000-4,000 sign-on bonus (based on experience)
- $1,000 annual tool allowance
- $500 - $1,000 referral bonus paid through first 60 days
- Industry Competitive Starting Wages
- Ability to work extra hours with $100.00 daily bonus working 6th day
- $50.00 Annual Work Boot Credit

- One of the Newest Fleet of Trailers in the Industry to include over 4,000 Wabash, Hyundai and Great Dane dry vans
- Currently refurbishing 1,400 flatbed trailers
