Staff Accountant

DescriptionA family owned Consumer Goods company in Norwalk is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for handling all activities related to Accounts Payable, material invoicing, material billing, accounts receivables, and ad hoc tasks as assigned by the CFO. Other responsibilities include job costing, PO generation, cash reconciliations, and more.This is a smaller, team-oriented environment so the ideal candidate will be extremely organized and comfortable working in collaboration with others.RequirementsIdeal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands on accounting experience and it is preferred, but not required, that this candidate has a BA in accounting or finance (Associates will also be considered).
