  • Test programs, games and any software to make sure they are reliable, fully functional and user-friendly before they are released to the public.
  • They use a test plan to inspect thousands of lines of code to make sure they are entirely error-free.
  • They look for flaws and weaknesses in the program, such as an unappealing interface, and report back to the developers on their findings.
  • They may also fix any system problems or glitches and make suggestions for how to make a software program work better.
  • They must also ensure that the software is right for the market in which it will be released, is translated into the local language and is culturally compatible.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan test specification, and test case templates.
  • Develop and document test plans and test specifications.
  • Develop and execute test scripts using automated testing tools; document and summarize results.
  • Facilitate the defect tracking and test result summary processes through reporting.
  • Review requirements documented as Functional Specifications, User Stories or Change Requests.
  • Identify test data and prepare test cases for automation.
  • Participate in system and regression testing and support client User Accepted Testing (UAT).
  • Manage and prioritize defects from detection through to resolution.
  • Must have test case design experience and knowledge of test case design techniques.

Skills:
  • Provide support to Ingredient HACCP to ensure Client’s compliance to SQF Standards.
  • Manage supplier database to ensure accuracy and up to date information to ensure alignment with approved supplier database.
  • Work on special projects.
  • Support Client Quality Notification Process.
  • Navigate Client’s ingredient specifications, computer systems, and related databases as it relates to the supplier location approval process.
  • Position will develop relationships within Client’s Quality, Supply Chain, R&D, and with SGS and Suppliers supporting the alignment of Supply Quality strategies, annual objectives, scorecards and project plans.
  • 1+ years working at a food facility in a technical role.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply effectively.
  • Strong Analytical, problem solving, and organization skills.
  • Ability to proactively complete work with little supervision - a Go-Getter.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ability & eagerness to learn new software programs.
  • Familiarity with Food Safety, Regulatory, and Quality Systems and their application within food processing (bakery).
  • Familiarity with HACCP, Sanitation, GMP and Pest Control programs.
  • Knowledge of Quality Standards, and Quality Policies, with skills and ability to execute against requirements.
