More details:
· Position is a full time position.
· Must be able to read a ruler with ability to add and subtract simple fractions to the 1/16 of an inch.
· Candidate should have enthusiasm, energy and possess a keen sense of style and design.
· Must possess good communication, math and computer skills.
· Ability to work with your hands is required.
Partial List of Responsibilities:
· Develop and learn design skills for custom picture framing including measuring accurately.
· Develop and learn proper framing products for conservation framing, treatment and proper handling of artwork, photography, shadowboxing, and materials needed for the piece being framed.
· Ability to work independently, accurately, carefully and timely.
· Assist in all aspects of picture framing and gallery sales.
· Professional and courteous attitude are required (dress code & safety rules apply).
