Small local manufacturing company looking for a reliable, responsible and dependable tester, shipper and assembler with good mechanical abilities to help build and test our products. Must be dependable, have valid drivers license and own transportation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Place parts in specified relationship to each other and fasten together
Must have good coordination, eyesight and hand dexterity
Show up on time and comply with rules on attendance and requirements of the job
Good communication skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Mechanical assembly of small parts skills required
Ability to be cross-trained on various other positions and procedures
Ability to maintain a steady and acceptable assembly pace and level of quality
Ability to work at different work stations as production needs require
Capable of reading, understanding and retaining basic instructions
Ability to multi-task with a commitment to quality and customer service
Reliably and consistently construct and assemble various sub-assemblies into our completed product
Must have a clear criminal background check
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
Must be a strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
