Channel your drive to make a difference into shaping an organization and an industry that’s evolving fast to the future.As Associate Director and Counsel, Global Compliance Investigations, the selected candidate will be responsible for leading investigations of potential violations of regulatory and/or internal policy requirements, drafting disclosures and/or reports regarding verified violations (as applicable), and coordinating with business stakeholders to assess root cause and develop corrective actions. This role covers both Ethics and Compliance and Global Trade investigations internationally across P&W. The selected candidate will be a member of the Global Compliance team in P&W’s Legal, Contracts and Compliance organization and will report to the Director & Senior Counsel, Global Compliance Investigations. R esponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Conducting investigations of potential violations of global trade, ethics and compliance, and certain government contracting laws and/or policies

Analyzing allegations and investigation findings to determine regulatory and other external reporting requirements, and drafting disclosures and reports for submission to government agencies and/or internal stakeholders

Partnering with various stakeholders across the company to identify root causes of regulatory and/or policy violations and develop robust corrective actions

Working collaboratively with members of the Global Compliance team and stakeholders across the company to provide investigation status updates and report on trends, compliance risks, and corrective actions

Assisting in the development, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of P&W and RTX policies, standard work, and processes for investigations

Continually enhancing and improving P&Ws’ ethics and “Speak Up” culture and maintaining a heightened awareness of the RTX Code of Ethics, acting with integrity at all times

Basic Qualifications:Juris Doctor degree with at least 10 years' of relevant experience

5+ years of relevant investigations and/or compliance experience

Good standing with a state bar association and in-house counsel registration in a timely manner following hire

Unrestricted work authorization in the United States

Must be a strong leader and team player with excellent judgment and professional maturity

Demonstrated ability to work with minimal daily supervision and to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously

Must be willing to comply with applicable pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, and background check

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with U.S. and Canadian export and import regulations, Department of Defense Office of Inspector General investigations and disclosures (e.g., False Claims Act, time charging), and/or corporate ethics and compliance matters (e.g., Code of Ethics, harassment, retaliation, discrimination)

Prior experience drafting disclosures for submission to regulatory agencies and conducting witness interviews

Background within an aerospace manufacturing environment
