Job Description

The Brand Manager is responsible for the delivery of key commercial targets that include P&L and market share objectives. This role is responsible for developing brand growth strategies, launching key innovation initiatives, working closely with customer teams, and day-to-day operations of the business. This role is responsible for leading a cross-functional team to achieve aligned brand objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manages the go-to-market execution of aligned innovation launches on the core business and new items.
  • Develops, leads and executes promotional strategies, marketing plans to deliver against annual brand targets. Monitors progress and provides proactive recommendations to course correct if off-track.
  • Ensures smooth operation of the day-to-day functions of the brand, including ROI measurement, budget management, invoicing, licenses, custom item development, and SKU management.
  • Partners with Global Teams to develop and execute aligned innovation projects on existing items.
  • Works hand-in-hand with customer teams and supports sales materials development, category selling stories, and presentations.
  • Develops disruptive creative campaigns to be executed across multiple touch points including traditional, digital, social, and in-store.
  • Provides strategic input to the overall short and long-term new product development agenda.
  • Leads cross-functional brand teams to prioritize projects and resources to deliver against KPIs and goals.
  • A self-starter that can work through uncertainty to make business decisions and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • MBA in Marketing strongly preferred
  • 4-6 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods
  • Experience within Brand Management and New Product Launches
  • Experience working with syndicated data (IRI or Nielsen Scantrak, Panel, etc)
  • Solid MS Office skills – PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Demonstrated project and product management expertise
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to effectively organize, analyze, and present data with solutions
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate solid leadership qualities
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority
