Embedded Systems Test Engineer Our direct client is looking to hire a skilled Test Engineer to design and implement standardized Test Procedures and quality-check procedures for our products. This would require a mix of technologies that encompasses both embedded systems and the desktop programs that control them.In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing the product features, designing test parameters, creating customized quality checks, and writing up final test procedures for the quality technicians and production teams.To ensure success as an Embedded Test Engineer at this company, you should have in-depth knowledge of engineering and product design, a good eye for detail, and the ability to think out of the box.Ultimately, a top level Test Engineer can create simple yet thorough quality-check procedures to ensure the peak performance of a product

Test Engineer Responsibilities:– Meeting with the cross platform teams to determine product testing parameters. -Writing test plans and creating test cases for the product. Conducting quality assurance and designing performance tests using the new testing procedures. – Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures. – Writing up the final QA and test procedures for production and embedded teams. – Assist in bringing up new designs and providing feedback to Design Engineers. – Training staff in test procedures and providing technical support when needed. – Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards. – Preparing test reports for management and peers. Test EngineerRequirements: – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.– Previous work experience with a minimum 5 + years as a Test Engineer.– Extensive knowledge of embedded and desktop engineering and testing procedures.– Experience with the SDLC process, and the associated software governance associated tools JIRA, Bugzilla, Redmine or similar– Working knowledge of Oscilloscopes, DVMs, and other test hardware as applied to test spec development. – Knowledge of desktop development such as Visual Studio – Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills in both an embedded and desktop environment – A proven ability to manage projects and tasks independently, with initiative and independence being paramout. – High-level technical writing skillsFor immediate consideration, please apply with your updated resume today!
