BIC has an opportunity for a high-energy communications professional with at least 10 years professional experience to fill the role of

Senior Internal Communication Manager, reporting to the Director, Internal Communications and Employee Engagement. The Communications Senior Manager will facilitate consistent, targeted, and timely messages that will actively involve team members, while aligning with BIC's strategic communications plans and business goals. The successful candidate must be able to maintain collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders and feel comfortable working with dynamic corporate leaders. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, people-oriented, and a skilled writer with exacting editorial standards. This role requires internal leadership of several high visibility initiatives as well as strong cross-functional interactions with teams based around the world.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a critical internal project manager for broad-based communications strategies and execution that inform and inspire BIC team members.
  • Ownership of the intranet’s editorial content strategy and execution and oversight of a group of communicators who are content contributors to the intranet
  • Oversight of the global internal editorial calendar in close coordination with the external communications team
  • Spearhead processes and procedures that facilitate clear, concise and timely communications throughout the organization.
  • Drafting, editing, and proofreading materials, including messaging, talking points, speeches, intranet content, fact sheets, FAQs, briefing notes, and video scripts.
  • Serve as a main communications partner and consultant to several c-level executives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field required.
  • 10+ years of experience within employee communications or corporate communications at an agency or in-house.
  • Experience in fast-moving industry within a heavily matrixed organization.
  • Extensive experience advising executives in communications and reputation management.
  • Strong management and strategic planning and goal setting.
  • Excellent visual, oral and written communication skills required.
  • Proficiency in the use of content management systems, the Adobe-suite and all Microsoft apps, especially Power-Point and SharePoint
