QA Tester for a long term contract - 12 months initial with 12 month extensions - location is shelton CTon site is required 4 days a week mon thru Friday
Description of Service:The following functions are performed by QA Testing:- Create/Update Test Plans
- Test new code and fixes to current bugs prior to deployment to Production
- Document, report, monitor/track bugs in the Bugzilla System
- Collaborate iteratively with IT developers to fix bugs
- Communicate issues, changes, and results with management, team members, and IT developers
- Investigate problems/ issues until a determination can be made as to the reason for them (detail oriented)
- IOL WEB for internal users - Main application our client uses to monitor all activity by Shippers
- IOL Batch Jobs - Several jobs that run on a set schedule every day
- Nom Server- Server where all Nomination activity resides
- Informational Postings - is website open to everyone with information about several categories required by NAESB
- WEB Reports - internal application to internal users containing several reports used daily
- ACES (Citrix and WEB) - Accounts, Contracts, and Enterprises application contains information about Shippers and their contracts
- IGI WEB - invoicing application - used to bill our customers every month
- SCORE - Contains information about our points on the pipeline
- Shippers Request Project - new application for new Shippers to request service from Iroquois
