Come to IBM and make a global impact!Your Role and Responsibilities :IBM is seeking an SAP ABAP Developer to become part of a collaborative, co-located team supporting global indirect tax, integration of ERP systems, and ongoing strategic transformation projects. The team is located in an agile open space in Southbury, CT, with experienced business analysts, and uses physical and virtual tools to collaborate and manage our work. .The secret to success is our people and culture. We strive to deliver holistic product experiences and tackle new and exciting challenges relating to system development and integration.This developer will collaborate with tax professionals, analysts, testers, and consulting professionals to support the following job responsibilities:End-to-end participation in strategic transformation projects to integrate SAP worldwide with ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Determination

Collaborate with business analysts, end users/stakeholders, and Thomson Reuters consulting professionals, on delivery of interfaces, enhancements, conversions, and reports in support of deploying IBM's Indirect Tax Integration in SAP ECC and CRM environments

Participate in design, development, review, and test efforts for improvements

Create technical specifications and documentation

Perform debugging and root cause analysis of various technical and process issues, resolving these in collaboration with cross-functional teams

Analysis and resolution of tax system defects in enterprise resource planning (ERP) production environments

Actively engage in the Agile development process and contribute to the team’s Agile maturity

Build strong relationships with product owners and international stakeholders from a mix of IBM’s business areas, including sales, purchasing, and intercompany

CIODEM20Required Technical and Professional Expertise3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, preferably in FI

Demonstrated knowledge SAP ABAP development, particularly in the Financial space

Experience with full life cycle SAP implementations

Passion for problem solving

Demonstrated communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills

Professional judgement demonstrated by decision making and prioritization skills

Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseKnowledge of Agile practices

Knowledge of IBM's SAP systems

Knowledge of Global Indirect Tax

Experience with SAP Indirect Tax Interfaces
