Position Overview:We are seeking a self-motivated electronic technician interested in developing electronic and electro-mechanical tools. In this position you will work with engineers developing innovative new products and sustaining existing products. Major Responsibilities and Capabilities:- Support development engineers by building electronic and electromechanical prototypes
- Develop, execute and document engineering tests
- Manage development lab
- Work with HTSG Test labs to coordinate qualification test
- Report to management on a regular basis
- Learn and follow SB&D development processes
- AS in Electronic Technology or equivalent working experience
- 2 - 7 years electronic technician experience
- Vision and mechanical dexterity appropriate to work with advanced electronic components
- Familiarity using electronics laboratory equipment including: power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs and spectrum analyzers
- Solder training and experience highly desirable
- Experience with Altium design tools a plus
- Possess well-developed interpersonal, communication, and personal time management skills
- Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects
