Our leading client in Stamford is seeking a talented and professional Microsoft Technical Support Engineer to support their user community.

Responsibilities of the Microsoft Technical Support Engineer:
  • Provide level 3 support for MS Suite, Active Directory, O365, Exchange, and MS Teams
  • Monitor and manage simple to complex Microsoft cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Support O365 license assignment, altering, and removal with end users
  • Work with users over the phone, virtually, or in person to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Document resolutions to ensure issues can be addressed quickly in the future
  • Perform basic system administration functions

Requirements of the Microsoft Technical Support Engineer:
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting O365, MS Teams, Active Directory, and Exchange
  • Knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure solutions, system security, enterprise directories, and cloud technologies
  • Extensive knowledge of O365 applications including Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Experience with Windows Servers and Active Directory
  • Expert knowledge of ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Knowledge of networking: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
  • Demonstrated experience supporting a 500+ user community
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize support tickets appropriately
