The Pricing Analyst works closely with the Pharmacy Practice and Health and Benefits, and is a unique specialty solution whose main goal is to provide employers a pharmacy benefit solution that transforms the current business model and management processes for pharmacy benefit programs, and re-establish employer control over cost, quality and delivery effectiveness. It leverages the collective market share of its participating employers to purchase pharmacy benefit management services in a financial model based on the principles of transparency and pass through. The RxC is the largest employer pharmacy coalition in the United States.The RoleAs a Pricing Analyst specializing in pharmacy, you will work beside some of the industry’s top consultants while you progress toward becoming a thought leader of the future.You will have immediate exposure to real client assignments which will draw on your imagination and creativity as well as your ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and present results. These experiences will help build your technical knowledge and overall industry expertise.Your main responsibilities will be as follows:Partner with consultants and team members to perform financial analyses including cost savings and data analysis projections, review and update of pricing and other analytical models

Develop value propositions and other related documents for client prospects including pharmacy contracts

Analyze and compare vendor products, services and contracts

The RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, public health, health management or any other major with significant quantitative course work

Work experience that demonstrates strong technical and/or client service skills (analyst type of internship preferred)

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
