Our direct client, a major global financial services firm, is looking for an experienced Application and Production Support Engineer to help them to implementing and maintaining software, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring & alerting and testing. You work in a diverse environment in close cooperation with various business units, and both internal and external clients. Are you passionate about modern technology? What You Will Do- Support and development of large software solutions
- End2End responsibility as part of software application support culture
- Improve scalability, service reliability, capacity, and performance
- Design automated monitoring and alerting
- Work in a flexible work schedule and family-friendly environment
- Work with 1st/2nd line support to resolve client issues
- Strong application software mindset with excellent development and troubleshooting skills
- Good experience in programming in C
- Good experience in scripting in one or more language (Python, Bash, Perl)
- Good experience in RedHat or Windows server
- Good experience with automation, configuration management, IaC and CI/CD and know how in Splunk, build server, GIT-OPS, Confluence/Jira is helpful
- Nice to have experience in SQL
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as well as strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills, both excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced and agile environment (SAFe organized train) as well as readiness to sometimes work outside the normal working hours
- High interest in learning new technologies and concepts
- Nice to have financial data experience
