- Builds data transformations including importing data from files, moving data from one database platform to another, streaming data including by Kafka and obtaining via REST APIs; as well JSON format.
- Develops plans and secures resources to support data migration projects.
- Someone who is able to collaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts, and other team members to determine data extraction and transformation requirements.
- Gathers business requirements and works with data analysts on physical database design and modeling.
- Performs code reviews, analyzes execution plans, and re-factors inefficient code.
- Follows data standards, resolves data issues, completes unit testing and system documentation for Extract Transfer Load (ETL) processes.
- Creates technical documentation of design logic and ETL/ELT processes based on technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes
- Analyzes day-to-day functions and processes that are flexible and scalable to accommodate future business requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
