Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Project Manager for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Stamford, CT . Responsibilities :
- Create Project plan in line with bank Markets Project Management Methodology
- Review plans and milestones with Project Board and Programme Board; obtain approval for changes
- Enter and maintain RAG/Schedule date/comments milestones
- Raise change control requests (as required)
- Support quality assurance reviews
- Manage Project risk, issue, dependencies
- Manage Project Financials
- Should be able to interact with Senior Management and articular/escalate issues
- Manage delivery objectives within scope of this project
- Work in close partnership with app technology teams and global transformation teams
- Report metrics to ensure project deliveries are tracked, accurately reported and met
- Follow bank Markets Project framework and familiarity with Agile
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project and Visio required.
- Knowledge of industry preferred.
- The candidate must be a detail oriented.
- The candidate must be a self starter with strong organizational and communication skills.
- The candidate must have prior experience working as a PMO
- +5 years experience in Project Management preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile preferred.
