Description: We are seeking an experienced designer with hands-on mechanical skills to work in the Tool Engineering group supporting new and existing air vehicle tooling projects.Candidate will:Develop new tooling concepts for a variety of programs.Present tool concepts to customers for review and obtain customer approval to proceed to detailed design and tool build.Ensure tools are developed and produced in compliance with Sikorsky design requirements and customer expectations.Coordinate with suppliers, and perform final checks of tooling developed at suppliers.Qualifications:Experience with CATIA FT&A (model based design).Must have a solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance application.Must be familiar with MS Office products and demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.Must be familiar with a variety of manufacturing processes.Experience with CATIA V5 (experience working with CATScripts a plus)Education: BSME preferred (ASME w/experience considered)Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
