Duties / Responsibilities :

Partner with the sales leadership team and executive management to design, implement and administer motivational and cost-effective incentive plans

Ensure that the financial ramifications of incentive plan changes are calculated and approved by Executive management before implementation

Calculate sales commissions and bonuses according to sales compensation plans and policies, ensuring commission and bonus calculations are done accurately and in a timely manner through partnerships with sales, and other departments

Process commission month-end closing, including preparing commission accruals, payables, journal entries, complex reconciliations and audit schedules

Act as the liaison with the sales force for commission related questions and discrepancies; Research and resolve commission related inquiries from sales teams including booking disputes, splits between sales teams and regions, quota credit clarifications, etc.

Utilize Xactly to research participants’ setups, payment history, hierarchies, and other commission related information

Participate and support UAT activities for the Xactly Implementation

Serve as a subject matter expert in various Commission Accounting processes and the Xactly platform

Required Skills / Abilities :

BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field

2+ years of experience as a Commissions / Compensation Analyst or Accountant

Strong Excel and financial modeling skills

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail required

Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to research sales commission issues and communicate relevant conclusions, both verbally and in written format

Tact, diplomacy, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality are critical

Prior experience working with Xactly or similar incentive plan software a strong plus

Preferred Skills / Abilities :

Experience working with Xactly or other sales performance management system

Physical Requirements :

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in an office or cubical environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)
