Job Description

EMPLOYER: SS&C Technologies, Inc.

JOB TITLE: Analyst

LOCATION: Windsor, CT

DUTIES: Define product and process automation requirements based on domain, product and industry knowledge: Incorporate and prioritize client input; Produce and distribute Business Requirement Documents (BRD) after combining client requirements, domain expertise and soliciting feedback from other team members on the requirements of the solution; Ensure review and approval of the document before final publication; Gather and prioritize requirements for the product roadmap. Help to define a product vision and strategy; Review design deliverables providing feedback on their content, accuracy and completeness in meeting the requirements as specified in the BRD; Assist in the design of the business workflow logic required to achieve the functionality as specified in the BRD; Participate in product design sessions and processes; Ensure that designs meet the minimum defined requirements necessary to meet the project goal and timeframes; Apply knowledge of the client's business requirements to describe the relationship between the proposed solution and trade-offs; Collaborate with other SS&C professionals, transferring expertise in delivering and supporting implementation projects; Optimize the user experience through intuition, analysis of quantitative data and qualitative research/customer interviews; Set and continually manage project and process expectations with key stakeholders; Build, develop, and grow relationships vital to the success of the project internally and externally. May telecommute and work remotely from any location in the United States.

REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Business Management, Product Management, Information Management or Information Systems and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience using tools such as JIRA, Balsamic, Figma, Camunda, MS Office Applications, Mongo DB, Confluence, Salesforce, and Workday. Two (2) years of experience working with cross-functional and international teams as well as utilizing Agile development methodologies, and two (2) years of experience with B2B SAAS offerings with an understanding of API and related documentation.
