Master Scheduling is responsible to investigate and interrogate the demand plan using the best information available to provide long-range visibility in alignment with customer requirements to support financial planning, internal and external capacity management and SI&OP. Its objective is to create balance between demand, capacity and accurate, stable and linear schedules through the following activities:Interact with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and Program Management to identify and mitigate risks, understanding supply constraint points and develop creative solutions to address situations when demand exceeds capacityExecute and evaluate MRP simulations for proposals and contract awardsCreate and maintain the master production schedule (MPS) by analyzing demand and capacity information as inputs Work with contracts and program management to ensure all sales orders are properly loadedProvide feedback for expedite requestsRelease MPS block on Sales Orders Line after review of the demand and ensuring all master data is set-up for MRP flow downUse data-driven capacity and resource management techniques to determine constraints, requirements and opportunities and establish a consensus supply plan that aligns with financial and operational planningPrimary responsibilities include:Development of production schedules for all awarded contracts and customer commitments in SAPSupport integration of all schedules into the consolidated production plan to forecast work cell schedules and loads; identify resource constraints; level load capacity; develop and implement risk mitigation and alternate production plans as required.Development of high level schedules for proposal activity; run simulations to create production planning scenarios to identify future capacity loads and resource constraints.Interface with Production Control, Program Operations Management, and Lab Management on production schedules; Interface with Engineering and Program Management to ensure dynamic program schedules are incorporated into daily production plans.Manage SAP end item demand; work within the Planning organization to ensure MBOM and MRP requirements are accurately reviewed and align with the detailed production schedule. Must be able to interpret and act on conflicting or incomplete information in pursuit of an objective; adaptable to changing priorities.Requires strong planning, organizational, and communication skills; the ability to take the initiative and work both independently as well as cooperatively within a team environment.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR

Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR

In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
