This position is responsible to assist in the development ofCorporate Strategic plans for Chief Marketing Officer. The MarketingIntelligence Strategy Manager will continually monitor and analyze marketand competitor activity related to consumer lending, student lending andother financial sectors as required. The incumbent is a motivatedself-starter with a passion for mining external data and providing insightsto senior management. The incumbent will be asked to assist with thecreation of regular executive management and board member presentations.The incumbent must balance multiple competing objectives to achieveresults. The incumbent will pursue all data sources and work with multiplebusiness units, utilize his/her technical skills, business analysis, andinnovation to drive analyses to completion. In addition, the incumbent willbe expected to engage in other Analytical projects which have departmentwide or bank wide applications.What You'll Do:50% - Business Development Strategy· Assist in the development of strategic for Marketing and BusinessDevelopment team· Maintain product road-map· Develop product and industry specific white papers to support thestrategy30% - Market Intelligence· Conduct research on market insights, business opportunities, industrytrends· Work with team to gather intelligence· Monitor competitors for new/enhanced products, customer demographics, andpricing· Monitor media outlets for reports and analysis20% - Reporting and analytical project work· Create and deliver various presentations, reporting, and analysis forexecutives, Board of Directors, and other internal customers· Recommend and provide information for SEC, FDIC, and other governmentfilings· Review, consolidate and interpret complex external (federal and media)reports/articles and provide summaries to managementRequired Qualifications:What You Bring:· Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, StrategicAnalytics, Economics Statistics or related field and/or equivalent workexperience· 5+ years of experience in Strategic Analytics experience assisting in thedevelopment and implementation of strategic market plans· Strong analytical skills with ability to extract, summarize and presentdata in executive level presentations· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)· Excellent oral and written communication skills· Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulatescomplex issues in a clear, concise, user-friendly format· Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and projects of variousscale in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environmentWhat You'll Get at Sallie Mae:
