ACCOUNTANT
As an Accountant at Global Fire Protection Group, you will be the primary contact for accounting and licensing functions. This key position works closely with both internal and external customers. The right candidate for this position is able to meet required schedules and deadlines and has excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the initiative to get up to speed quickly, as well as be organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently and efficiently. Office location is in Chadds Ford, PA
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Gather, input and schedule all payable expenses to be paid timely
Assist with payroll and 401k processing and entries
Develop amortization and depreciation schedules for equipment and software purchases
Work with customers on accounts receivables
Assist project managers with billing invoices
Complete state and local licensing registrations, payments and maintenance
Manage equipment listing and coordinate equipment and software purchases
Bank reconciliations
Financial reporting
Tax returns and payments
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Business Management preferred
Experience with QuickBooks Online required
3 years Accounting experience required; preferably in a service-based industry such as engineering,
construction, or similar industry.
Experience with licensing and tax preferred
Demonstrated computer efficiency in Microsoft Office products
Self-starter and have a hands-on proactive approach for daily work responsibilities
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organization
Ability to prioritize and problem solve
Effective time management skills
Strong learning acumen
Ability to track and manage multiple tasks, and comply with deadlines
High degree of professionalism
