Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for a Senior Financial/Cost Analyst to join its world-class team. This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today's most exciting technologies.The candidate will provide business advisory to the Operations team in Delaware and will provide financial support for Delaware Manufacturing Operations. The ideal candidate is expected to have a solid understanding of cost accounting, with a good track record of having supported global manufacturing operations. The role would also involve providing guidance and leadership for many cross-functional initiatives aimed at driving operational efficiencies, as well as improving gross margins.Responsibilities: Analyze actual, forecasts and prepare reports tied to inventory and cost of goods sold Work cross-functionally to incorporate requirements for forecasts as well as for business outlook and develop models/analytics to help improve gross margins Develop spending models for scenario planning, overhead rate determination and partner with Plant managers to help consolidate total department spending for Operations Play a key role in developing and maintaining dashboard reports, cost roadmap and in creating models for inventory forecasts Assist in monthly and quarterly cost accounting close process; ensure close schedules and reporting needs are met for Delaware Operations Provide ad-hoc financial support and analysis for business decisions modeling, forecasting, and ROI analysis Participate in physical inventory audit process, perform test cycle counts and ensure inventory records are accurate Work with IT and other functional teams to implement systems and business processes aimed at reducing financial close cycle Ensure inventory is valued in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles Ensure appropriate internal controls surrounding inventory movements are in place and provide support for SOX compliance; provide necessary support for external audit.Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PMSkills:2-4 years experience in consolidations and reportingExpertise in cost accounting and advanced analytical skills Experience in a global environment and interfacing with international subsidiaries is a plus.Advanced communication and analytical skills are critical in interfacing with manufacturing, operations and management Experience with Oracle or SAP manufacturing modulesEducation:BachelorsExperience:ExperiencedQualifications: Bachelors degree (BS/BA) in Accounting or related field CPA, CMA or MBA preferredThis is a 6 month contractual position with Randstad at Bloom Energy.
