Full-time customer service representative and digital production assistant needed by established printing company. Applicants MUST have recent relevant printing experience OR training to be considered. Quickbooks and Microsoft Office experience is a plus. Illustrator and Adobe Pro experience is a major plus.

Primary tasks are to make and receive phone calls & emails from customers & suppliers, create, send and print work orders, purchase orders, and packing slips using Quickbooks & Outlook, track all order statuses using Excel, and coordinate with other staff. The position requires sitting at a desk using a computer and printer for most of the day, walking into the production and inventory areas to talk to other staff or stage finished goods for shipping, and carrying boxes of inventory/supplies to where they are needed. The customer service rep works with six other on-site staff members.

Position requires working 40 hours per week at our office in Wilmington from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break. Pay is $18+/hour, depending on qualifications. After a 90 day probationary period, benefits will be offered.

Minimum requirements are:

∙ Recent experience or training in the printing industry.

∙ Speaks, reads and writes English.

∙ Excellent professional phone manner.

∙ Excellent professional email skills.

∙ Has reliable transportation to and from work.

∙ Shows common sense, learns quickly, takes responsibility for finishing tasks properly & on time, is prompt, dependable, thorough, detail oriented, a multitasker, organized, friendly, efficient & able to work under pressure.

∙ Is completely comfortable using a PC and multipurpose printer/scanner/fax machine.

∙ Has experience with PC business applications including Microsoft Office and is able to use online resources to resolve application problems or questions.

∙ Is able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 30 pounds and place or remove them from shelves reaching over their heads.

∙ Has at least two references from supervisors at prior positions.

∙ Can pass a background check with no record of serious criminal history or dishonesty.

Additional consideration given to candidates with the following qualifications:

∙ High level of knowledge of Quickbooks, Illustrator, or Acrobat Pro.

∙ Work experience in printing or vocational, technical, or college training applicable to our industry.
