Nursing Care Coordinator Needed
Newly licensed registered nurses encouraged to apply
Immediate vacancy for a full time Nursing Care Coordinator/Delegating Nurse/RN to join our agency team serving children and adults with autism, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in our residential and day programs.
The responsibilities of Nursing Care Coordinator include but are not limited to:
Coordination of medical care including preventative, maintenance and specialty care appointments.
Communication with families, caseworkers, physicians, clinicians and pharmacies regarding patient care.
Completion of nursing assessments.
Delegation of medication administration and other nursing tasks to Certified Medication Technicians.
Rotating on-call responsibilities.
Training of non-clinical staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Required:
Positive attitude and respect for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Registered Nurse with valid license in the State of Maryland and/or compact state.
Graduate of an approved nursing school or college/university based nursing program.
Appropriate clearances.
Valid driver’s license with record satisfactory to agency insurance standards.
