Sherms Catering is hiring Delivery Drivers to join our award winning team! Our delivery team focuses on corporate meetings and other special events and we provide a full range of menu selections. You will be responsible for all delivery check procedures and ensuring proper food handling and vehicle safety. If you have worked in a catering setting before, we definitely want to hear from you! We will train if you have not.
Availability is key! If you are available, we have the hours for you!

Responsibilities and Duties
- Adhere to assigned schedule while delivering orders in a safe and timely manner
- Verify orders to ensure all items are loaded for complete delivery and work with Appropriate Management as instructed to resolve problems
- Set up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind
- Serve as a Brand Ambassador
- Respond to customer concerns
- Clean up Delivery Area daily and assist with food storage and other delivery tasks
- Must follow all driving laws while in company vehicle.
Qualifications and Skills
- Daytime availability, if available nights or weekends - let us know at interview.
- Previous delivery experience a plus
- Knowledge of catering practices preferred but not required
- Ability to work quickly and as a team in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift 20-40 pounds
- Ability to read and comprehend simple delivery preparation and cleaning instructions, ability to comprehend complex directions to specific physical locations
- Reliable transportation required
- Valid Drivers License required with a safe driving record
- Ability to follow all local and posted moving vehicle regulations and laws.
- Must have a positive and professional attitude
- Bring a copy of your driving record, or be ready to obtain one at interview from DMV website
Position could be full-time based on candidates availability.
