Food for Thought Catering is seeking mature, responsible individuals to deliver and set up catered meals in private and corporate environments. Must have valid driver's license, relatively clean driving record (no major infractions/dui in the last 5 years), and a positive attitude.
You will be driving company vans. Hours vary - early morning, late morning/early afternoon, and late afternoon/early evening shifts are available. We operate 7 days a week. The schedule is flexible. Each day is different and depends on the orders that we have. This is an "on-call" system - each day's schedule is posted online by noon the day before. The key to this working out is being clear about and communicating your availability.
This is a great opportunity for night-time restaurant workers, retirees, or stay-at-home moms and dads with kids in school that are looking to supplement their income.
Discounted menu and primary care health plan are included if you work 20+ hours per week. Plenty of hours are available to those with the most availability and industry experience, as there are other tasks besides driving.
Must be able to lift 40-50 pound totes into and out of delivery vans. Must be able to communicate with clients in English.
