Oral Surgical Dental Assistant NEEDED!

POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform a variety of surgical assisting duties to promote quality care for surgical patients in a stress-free environment.Assists doctor with multiple surgeries, and be able to follow all OSHA/HIPPA rules and regulations for a safe environment for patients and staff.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Assist doctor during surgical procedures
Perform instrument sterilization and infection control in the office
prepare surgical instruments for surgery procedures
Control inventory of clinical supplies
Order clinical and surgical supplies
Clean and stock operatories
Prepare patient for treatment
Recover patients
SECONDARY DUTIES:
Take x-rays/CBCT as needed
prepare patients for diagnosis
Assist doctor in post-operative patient care
Launder uniforms
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate
Surgical Assisting in and Oral Maxillofacial setting preferred
COMPETENCIES;
Exceptional math skills
Must be able to speak, understand and write in grammatically correct English
Ability to work well with others
Ability to handle conflicts
Maintain an outgoing, friendly attitude with patients and staff
Must be able to work under pressure
