Qualifications: Skills, Knowledge/Education/Experience:
Batch chemical process/manufacturing experience
Equipment knowledge with respect to tanks, pumps, filters and piping
Material handling skills
Math aptitude
High school diploma or equivalent
Summary of Primary Duties:
Operate equipment and systems for producing high purity/high quality inks and dyes for the non-impact printing industry. The basic unit operations for this type of manufacture will be Reverse Osmosis, Ion Exchange, filtration and pack-off.
A high emphasis will be placed on safety, environmental awareness and color containment. Other duties will involve preparation of SOP’s, equipment troubleshooting, and involvement in start-up and introduction of new products.
