Job Summary
Working for Pettinaro Residential means being part of a team of talented professionals striving to provide the best in apartment living. Our HVAC Technicians play a key role in the success of our residential communities. Qualified candidates will collaborate with team members to assess and respond to HVAC and maintenance issues and inspire trust by caring for our communities.
Tour Your Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the HVAC Technician include:
Maintain and repair all HVAC equipment within assigned portfolio in a manner which ensures proper operating performance. Respond to service calls in a timely manner.
Prepares or assists in preparing all vacant apartments to a market ready condition.
Performs on-call emergency service as required.
Ability to lift up-to 100 pounds.
Assists the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager on special maintenance projects, (i.e., preventative maintenance of building components and/or mechanicals).
Maintains open communication with property management and the corporate office.
Consistently maintains a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the public, at all times, on or off the property.
Attends and participates in training seminars as requested.
Requires inside and outside work in all types of weather.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to Pettinaro:
Experience in residential or commercial HVAC maintenance
Universal CFC certification
Drivers License with clean record
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability
Knowledge and use of HVAC tools and equipment
Ability to perform medium to heavy work requiring prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, climbing ladders, crouching and lifting to a maximum of 100 lbs., with frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs.
