We are looking to hire and train a Sales Associate/Digital Court Reporter with some type of technical experience/background. You will be working 20-30 hours per week in this role. In order to carry out the daily functions and tasks, you will need to possess the following attributes:

Computer skills (50-70 WPM minimum, Microsoft Office, basic computer skills)

Extreme attention to detail

Ability to receive feedback (both positive and negative from peers and clients)

Professionalism (both in email and phone. We work in the legal field, so we expect nothing less)

Operate basic audio and video equipment with the ability to perform simple troubleshooting

Overview:

Sales tasks would include: sending out emails, making phone calls, scheduling meetings, occasionally attending a conference, networking events, responding to inquiries, and following up with new and existing customers and assisting with company projects if need be. There is an opportunity to advance and take on more areas of responsibility.

Digital Court Reporter job responsibilities would be to digitally record depositions and other legal proceedings (audio and/or video). This would be for about twenty to thirty hours a week with excellent compensation. As a digital court reporter, you will be doing real-time note taking, live playback of the recording and documentation necessary as well as some post-production, research duties and interactions with customers. You must be able to lift 50 lbs of gear and be comfortable with basic audio/video production concepts in addition to having solid experience with Windows operating systems. Requirements:

High School diploma or GED and one year of college or vocational school education in office skills, computer operation or a closely related field. Additional relevant experience may substitute for the college education on a year-for-year basis. Ability to type. Knowledge of legal terminology a plus. Excellent communication skills. High degree of professionalism, timeliness and accuracy. Lastly, you will be required to become a notary (if you are already a notary, please include that information as it is a huge plus).
