Monitor, maintain and repair all laundry equipment as required to ensure production requirements are met. Maintain a preventative maintenance program to ensure minimal breakdown.

Job Functions

Maintain/monitor production equipment, water systems and boilers to ensure efficiency/quality standards are met.

Ensure equipment malfunctions are detected and remedied.

Properly clean equipment as needed.

Maintain a consistent/thorough preventative maintenance program on all equipment.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Responsible for an immediate response to trouble calls on all equipment.

Communicate with management, co-workers and employees.

Follow all safety procedures.

Position Requirements:

Job Specifications

Prefer 2 years experience in high volume laundry environment with an electrical, mechanical, and plumbing background

Posses an understanding of laundry equipment, water systems and boilers

Proficient with inputting data in computer systems.

Physical requirements of this position include but are not limited to: standing and walking throughout shift; stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, and working in confined areas.

Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.

Must be able to perform heavy manual labor, including carrying and lifting of heavy objects.

Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
