Logistics Company seeks professional Independent Contractors (can be fleet owners or owner/operators) for bulk mail delivery.
We have immediate need for additional delivery service providers (Independent Contractors 1099 must hold either a Certificate of Incorporation or DBA). Must have your own DOT authority. Must have GPS or map books.
Straight Truck Owner/Operators needed. 26' 33,000 GVW (or greater) CDL box truck required. CDL B drivers license required. Proof of 33,000 GVW truck required.
Single axle Tractor Owner/Operators needed. Must have your own 28' trailers.
Day routes Only -
(schedule is typically Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday with limited Thursday and Saturday work)
home every night
Steady work - year round.
weekly settlements.
Most deliveries are dock only, Very few tail-gate or inside deliveries.
Description:
The position requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid Commercial Driver's License
Requirements:
Must be able to pass a criminal record verification
Good verifiable driving record
Good customer service skills required
Dependable and on-time track record
Attention to detail
Following documents must be provided to proceed with contracting process:
Valid driver's license showing CDL B
Current Vehicle Registration showing 33,000 GVW or greater with up to date insurance coverage.
Certificate of Insurance showing commercial auto, cargo, workmens comp and general liability
Social Security Card
Must be able to communicate (speak, read & write) in English.
