RN CANCER NAVIGATORSend This Job to a FriendDepartmentCancer InstituteScheduleFull time 80 (Two week Payperiod)ShiftDaysSalaryPay Grade 085 (Minimum hourly rate $31.08/hr)Hours730-5Job DetailsThe RN Cancer Navigator manages the overall quality and scope of care of patients in the cancer program in conjunction with the cancer centers' multidisciplinary care team. Navigates and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to direct and evaluate delivery of oncology patient care across all delivery sites. Participates in patient survivorship with the use of end-of-treatment summaries. Collaborates with oncologists, primary care providers, surgeons and other sub specialties on the provision of comprehensive care plans. Must have a BSN; or be a graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of four (4) years oncology nursing, care management / patient navigation experience in lieu of BSN. Must have a minimum of two (2) years oncology nursing, care management / patient navigation, or related physician practice experience. Must have current licensure in the State of Delaware. Oncology nursing certification must be received within 2 years. Must have basic computer literacy in Word & Excel, or similar software. Must have excellent clinical knowledge and skills in oncology, as well as a good understanding of cancer care in this geographical region. Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
