Senior Business AnalystGeneral InformationRef #:20220027435Travel Amount Required:Up to 25%Job Type:Regular-Full TimeLocation:USA - USA - RemoteDescription & QualificationsDescriptionTeam SummaryThe Business Data and Analytics Operations (BDAO) Team, a part of the Transformation Organization, is responsible for enabling UKrewers with meaningful data & insights to know our customers well and to deliver exceptional customer experiences with ease & confidence across the entire journeyThey do this by applying an outcome-driven consultative approach to structure program discovery to execution deliverables, while ensuring a steady stream of enablement activities help all UKrewers understand and act on data driven decisions.The RoleAs a Senior Business Analyst, you will be the owner of our strategic engagement request process, acting as a partner to our business stakeholders to review their requests, gather requirements and work collaboratively with our team to design and fulfill the requests. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast paced and growing environment, who can be flexible and adapt to change and who works well in a collaborative environment. The Sr. Business Analyst would be responsible for data-driven recommendations for improving our internal processes while also supporting the strategic initiatives internal to BDAO.ResponsibilitiesConsult: Work with numerous business stakeholders across multiple departments to identify and resolve issues related to reporting and insights Gather & translate business requirements into functional requirements and partner with our analytics, engineering, and data science teams for solution design Provide guidance to business stakeholders through the successful development and integration of new systems and operational processes Support the team by leading and implementing agile best practices and project management for cross-BDAO (engineering, data science and analytics) initiatives Help BDAO leadership by providing insightful and pro-active reporting and analysis Act as the lead business analyst for BDAO strategic initiatives and projects Provide coaching and support to other members of the team, where appropriate, within area of expertiseOptimization: Support, facilitate and enhance our team’s strategic engagement request intake and management process Implement and manage a framework for applying business value metrics to work done across the BDAO team Using a data driven approach, review and analyze our current intake and work assignment models, looking for areas of improvement or where we could generate cost savingsQualifications 5-7 years of relevant experience in technology product and services related industry Experience working in an agile team, implementing agile processes a plus Must be strong in Excel and have experience with the Microsoft suite. Microsoft PowerBI a plus Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes, open-minded and curious; positive attitude Experience in performance measurement, portfolio analytics and/or benchmark relative attribution analysis Passion for working in a consultative and hands-on manner, to intersect user experience, data, process, analytics, technology, and business value Strong problem-solving skills – ability to analyze and critically evaluate gathered information to resolve conflict and anticipate issues Works well in a collaborative team environment but can execute on tasks independently Experience with work management and productivity tools (e.g. AHA, Jira, ServiceNow, MS365) a plusCompany OverviewHere at UKG, Our Purpose Is People.
