Job DescriptionOperates envelope stacking machine automatically assembling elements. Unloads elements from COS machine, inspects for lead flash, plate alignment, broken separators, and loads elements to containers.Unload elements from COS machine, inspects for lead flash, plate alignment, and broken separators. Blocks and loads elements into container. May use and handle element centering fixture. May shim when necessary.Observes operation of machine, clears plate and separator jams, and makes adjustment to machine for proper operation. Makes changeovers on machine to produce all sizes of elements with all types of plates and separators. Use vacuum cleaner to remove oxide dust from machine and cleans area around machine.
